• Paint Issues: Paint imperfections like scratches, dust particles, or thin coverage in specific areas are something to look out for, especially on new cars. Tesla will usually rectify these, but be prepared for some waiting time.

More Potential Considerations

• Curb Rash Protection: Invest in rim protectors. The Model Y wheels sit flush with the tires, making scuffs common. Aftermarket protectors are a cheap and effective solution.

• Battery in Cold Climates: The Long Range model is the safer bet if you live somewhere with harsh winters. Expect higher battery drain when temperatures are low.
