Internet Explorer web browser will stop serving certain versions of the Windows 10 operating system on June 15, 2022. Microsoft says that the future of Internet Explorer on Windows 10 is in Edge Browser. Microsoft announced the public release of Edge based on Chromium on January 15, 2020.

From this point on, Microsoft Edge has constantly improved the experience compared to its competitors. Edge offers Microsoft users a smooth experience that sets them apart from the rest of its competition. It is the prime reason for discontinuing IE.

Internet Explorer Revolutionized the Internet

Microsoft launched Internet Explorer in 1995. As a child, I owned my first personal computer in 1999, and I remember how revolutionary the Internet Explorer web browser was at the time. Today’s Digital Graveyard (IE) was once a common tool installed on every computer in the world.

Twitter universe

There is a lot of humor in the Twitter universe as people make jokes about Microsoft shutting down Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer’s market share started dwindling between 2006 and 2009. With the success of Firefox and Google Chrome, the success of Internet Explorer faded. This decision took Microsoft a long time to come to, but this may be the last joke about IE amongst internet users.’

Death of the Legacy

A product from my era is fading away, which makes me sad. My mind wanders back to the old AOL, MSN, BBM, Orkut, and other vintage software I used as a kid. Nature demands change, and every day of our life is a step toward a new revolutionary idea. The next generation of Web browsers is Microsoft Edge, a fast, reliable, and web-based application-friendly browser.

It is time to acknowledge the change and encourage businesses to switch completely to Edge. Enterprises can benefit greatly from the Edge browser. Edge is even better than Chrome, but we will discuss Chrome vs Edge another time.
